This Canada-wide competition challenged students with designing a condo lobby as a welcoming ‘third space’—a vibrant hub fostering community and everyday connections among residents.

A custom window panel with intersecting crossroads represents the spontaneous interactions that strengthen community bonds.

At the heart of this concept is an AI-powered light wall that adjusts throughout the day, creating unique lighting for calm mornings or lively gatherings.
